Been living on a budget.

I am making myself spend no more than $100 a week on eats and DVDs. No spending the cash willy nilly on shinnies.

I thought I'd be much further into the pantry and freezer but I really hadn't. Ate couple of cans of Dole Pineapple that were best by 2013. Other than the pineapples looking slightly off color and flavor I'm okay [:D]. Maybe I took to heart of "Prepping" when I stocked up that pantry. Is that TV show still on?

Took out the big bag of beef kidneys Wednesday but I think they're still kind a frozen in the middle. Vacuum bag of 5 pounder takes a while to defrost? Was looking forward to grilling them today. Maybe Sunday?

if you keep it at 100.00 your doing good
the cat , dog , and chicken feed cost me close that much a week ( dang spoiled dogs and all there treats kill a big chunk of that )

I had a thought a couple nights back for some peaches I found four cans in the pantry but all were out dated by several years . one off brand some one had picked up I tried them .. terrible they may have been that way when new as they were some generic brand but I tossed all of them [:(] well fed to the chickens [:D]along with about a dozen cans of assorted can goods all out dated over two years ) decided to just go thru what was on the shelf's while I was at it
cleaned the freezers out several months back cooked up a huge pile of assorted meat for the dogs

I keep my food bill down to about $120 a month so that's about $30 a week. But I very seldom eat out, and as far as DVDs, I haven't even turned on my TV in over 3 years... So none of my money goes to the Hollywood Libturds...

After boycotting Hollywood, I discovered that I'm a pretty interesting person when not watching TV... You ought to try it yourself sometime, you'll find that sitting on your rear end and watching people pretend to have a life doesn't mean that you do have a life...

Ditch-Runner - Peaches in heavy syrup don't go bad. Add some booze to it that'll fix any bugs living in the can [:D].

So two years is the grace period?

remingtonoaks - Hmmm... giving up on new DVDs and just watch what I already got? That's crazy talk [:D]. Like not buying or getting new to you firearms.

    I don't have a life that's why I sit on my * watching fake people on the TV. If only I weren't anti-social [:D].

I should have checked the other's as they were a name brand and the ones I eat and buy but after the first can I ditched them all to the chickens
like I said it may have been just crappy can of peaches to start with as I have eaten out of date items in the past ( marketing ploy any way )

You missed the point brother... I'm saying don't even turn on your DVD player or TV and go out and live a life instead of watching somebody pretend to have a life...

Try checking DVDs out from your local library for free. A library may not have the best or latest DVDs available though.
