I am in need for new Bibs this winter for work. Preferably waterproof and insulated. Zip-to-knee or more, no buttons.
I've had decent luck with Carhartt, but wonder if there is anything better as of lately.

Half of the lives they tell about me aren't true.

I've been checking out the Duluth Trading Co. Bibs, anyone tried them?
i wear carhart bibs everyday in the winter...aint nothin like em...everything else just don't match up[;)]
agree
..In any case, try them on with everything that you would normally wear under them. Roomy can get binding, the more clothes you put on.
Filson. I have one of their wool coats, it is extremely well made, and also made in the US. Judging from the quality apparent in my coat, I would not hesitate to buy a pair of their bibs.
If their bibs are half as good as their wool coats I would give them 2 thumbs up as well. I bought a Filson Mackinaw cruiser(or close to that name?) a few years back. You spend a little more in the beginning, but I don't see any reason why this thing won't become a hand-me-down when I die. Made in the USA and a durable and warm jacket. Only downfall is that the dang wool holds an unreal amount of water and gets pretty heavy at times. [:D]

However, If abrasion resistence is not in the equation.....Some bibs like used for snowmobiling are VERY warm and more comfortable than Carhartts.
They are waterproof & most zip ankle to hip.[;)]
The Duluth fire hose material is nearly indestructible.
