From the sea of insanity comes a voice of reason. This man lost his son in the shooting and yet he understands that guns are not the problem.
This excerpt is from a public hearing in CT yesterday. This panel heard testimony from various government agencies, firearms manufacturers, parents of Sandy Hook victims, other "gun violence" victims and citizens. The day was long, some arrived at 7:00 a.m. and didn't leave until after 3:00 a.m. the following morning. Estimates indicate roughly eighty percent or more of the public testimony was from pro-gun individuals.
CT did well yesterday but the majority of our "leaders" absolutely have an agenda and plan to get their way. If you are in CT, DO NOT ease up! We are looking at Bills as far reaching as only "allowing" single-shot guns and behind closed doors these people are talking confiscation. Don't presume anything!

Just another side note, ive been following this father on Peirs Morgan to try to get a feel for the other side and its obvious hes only doin this for ratings....Hard to believe any one is that stupid.(Peirs)

Liberals don't accept that argument. They frame the 2A as "hunting rights", they do not acknowledge the defense against tyranny argument.

Have you seen Mr. Mattioli actually say make that statement about AR's? I don't recall him saying anything like that when he made his testimony live. That being said he certainly could have said it in another statement. I will be getting written transcripts of the testimony of certain individuals, including Mr. Mattioli.
There was another father who spoke, Mr. Heslin, he most certainly did question "why does anyone need one of these guns?". Perhaps this is the gentleman you saw make the statement? I need to be sure all my facts are straight as I send in my next letter to the legislature.

... And no one seems to be able to articulate the point that, its not weather or not I need one, its the fact that If I choose to own one for whatever reason that's my right..... They would sooner restrict my rights some more because that's easier than dealing with the real problem, Mental Health.

And the gub'ment will NOT do anything until they become a danger to themselves or someone else...
But most often by that time... It's too damn late to fix the problem.
We the people need to force this mental health issue on ALL Fronts... NOT just within the issue of guns.
