AARP

...How many times do I have to decline, until they quit sending me stuff? I'm aware of their anti-gun liberal agenda, but don't have any specific cases to point out in a letter I'd like to write. Can anyone point out specific cases of contributions to the Bradys, Clintons, etc? I want them to know exactly why I will not join.

...Truth is, I haven't heard anything about AARP and gun owners lately, but I doubt they've seen the error of their ways.

They couldn't pay ME to be a member.

Some will fall in love with life

    You?

Just an assumption since you are as old as dirt.[:o)]
Answer is no, and they started sending me stuff last November when I turned 50.

I managed to get the mailings stopped successfully.

I used to belong to AARP until I learned that they don't give a slime about the members or what they think. It's all politics. And, I found out that most companies that give AARP discounts will do it whether you belong or not.

You assume a lot don't you? For your info,I don't belong because of the political agenda they have. So, I guess when you get old enough it will be your choice of Insurance co.'s...[:o)][:o)]

They were really quite understanding when I asked them to stop sending me invitations in the mail. I sent them one carefully-worded letter in their own envelope over a year ago and haven't heard from them since.

Don't know with the [:o)] faces if you are joking with me, or you missed the entire bottom part of my reply.

I would never belong to this organization, and as another said,.....you can get the same discounts without being a member.

AARP,.....sounds like a noise that comes out of me when I eat too much garlic.
