    The bulldozer part in Grenada was semi-real. My old battalion commander was the mastermind behind it. He was a captain, leading a ranger company in Grenada and used the dozer against a position.

    Helluva good commander. Led from the front.

    John P. Abizaid. I was in the 3/325 ABCT in Vicenza, Italy with him as our Battalion Commander.

    He went on to be a 4 star. Good guy.

    Worst USMC movie ever.I Was'nt force recon,just a regular 0311.But I guarantee you no marine ever acted like those idiots.

    One other part that struck home was placing a Field Grade Officer that had no experience in command of an infantry unit.
    This is called square filling and IMHO it can be detrimental.
