BSA serial help

i own a BSA rifle and am trying to find out more information on it. i do believe it is a monarch. can anyone help me if i provide a serial #? at least a place to go to find it?

isn't particularly helpful. The rifles were introduced in the early
sixtys I believe but the claw extractor was only used for a couple of years. They provided the actions to Herters and a few other
manufacturers also. Frank De Hass's book "Bolt action rifles" has
a section on BSA's in it which might be helpful.
other twist rate chart I have doesn't include BSA.
have the 222 though, just too good of a shooter to part with.[:)]
the BSA, it was a lightweight before "lightweights" were in vogue!
Not much over 6lb!
