Range Day!!

Perfect range weather today. High of 35 and chance of snow/ rain showers most of the day. Should keep the wannabe's away from the range.[:D] My 1911 is dying to get some rounds put threw it. Anybody else gonna get a chance to do some shooting or hunting this weekend?

    Dad and I both had the day off. I drove over, picked him up and off to the range we went. I put a box of shells through the Remington 760 .270. I was impressed. I had it dialed in after 10 shots, but burnt up the other half box, so I had brass for reloading. At 100 yards I put the last 10 shots of factory 130 grain Federal Bluebox ammo in a 1.2" group. It was pretty windy too. Again, color me impressed. [:)] I also plinked around with my Glock 21SF and Charter Arms .38 Special.

    Dad finally got to shoot his AR-15 I assembled for him and you couldn't wipe the grin off his face. [8D] He also shot his Glock 27 with the 9mm conversion barrel.

    I just can't bring myself to go out and shoot when its 15 degrees out.[:(][:(]

    Good for both of you. spending time with your Dad and getting to shoot you new toys , what a great day
    current weather here of around "zero" degrees has a hold on any shooting ,
    but come spring we hope to make up for it

    The nice part about it being that cold, is that the range is usually empty. [:D]
