She is going tomorrow to defend her dissertation. Then she has to submit it to the University. Graduation is in Aug.

    Congratulations. I genuinely believe it's a big deal and a tremendously admirable accomplishment.

    I love school, I would have been a student maybe forever, and I couldn't find a way to earn a Phd.

    Congratulate her for me. It's a long road and I she's happy to be done.

    I remember back in 2003 when I was finishing my dissertation and mentioned it on the forum a bunch of people attacked me and insulted me. I guess they back off when it's the member's wife doing it and not the member.

    Select, Congrats to your wife. Getting a graduate degree is something I'd love to do, but for me it would just be a personal goal (no enhancement to my career path) and I could never justify the expense.

    Her paper on it was 192 page. She will be writing a book
