This guy needs advice

    The heck with that. You need a .460 Weatherby for any of the monster white tails in this country. Anything less and they may charge you after being hit, like a cape buffalo.

    Yea, I had a guy tell me he uses 300 Win Mag for deer. No big deal I thought, told him I was using a 257 Roberts. He looked at me and said "we have big deer in Georgia".

    Noy like I care what you hunt with. Just can't believe people think they need that much.

    Whitetail are relatively easy to kill as long as you make a good vital shot. I watched that video and that kid didnt have a clue or was a terrible shot and had a few to run off and not recover them. Now cats on the other hand...... [:0][;)][:I][:D]

    He mentioned an 800-yard shot from his porch. I didn't see any comments on the youtube video urging him to actually get out and hunt the deer.
