i purchased a the colt new agent, i splurged and got the talo with night sights. well anyhow the gun shoots great about 500 rounds not a single jam, works pperfectly, sights are on, love the gun.
my only concern is how the heck do you disembale and reasmeble, you need a 3rd hand almost, anyone know of a eaiser method or a trick to make it a little eaiser

thanks in advance

I also have had the same results with the Colt Talo New Agent. I have not yet tried any disassembly though.

yep, don't believe the hype that you need special tools for the compact 1911's, or that they're difficult.
i have the defender and it's the same as the commander, gov't size etc.
here's a look at how easy it is:
    damn, lost the link......
    it's on utube.

I don't find anything hard or special about taking down any of the Colts, and I dont have three hands...have no idea what ya'll are referring to.

You want hard, and the need to have a third hand, pull up the little lever on the backstrap of the Ruger MKII...[:D]

I've owned a MKII for years, and pulled it apart for cleaning dozens of times, but I still load a youtube video of reassembly everytime before I break down my MKII. Great little pistols, but an absolute nightmare to put back together.
