    Amen to that!
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

I have not been here as long as some - but I do remember from time-to-time when these topics come up.

Getting gun enthusiasts to agree on "everything" is like trying to get farmers to agree on "everything". (Anyone here know anything about the NFO?)

Like my father was a NRA member and life member. Its the best org to keep the 2nd amendment solid. 6 Million strong the NRA with its warts is still #1 for your 2nd A right.

I keep seeing that 6 million member number being brought up about the NRA. I ask myself:
    How many are fudds?
    How many are democrats?
How many believe in hi cap magazine restrictions?
How many supported banning killer bullets?
How many think so called assault weapons are not for civilians?
How many think a bump fire stock makes a rifle evil?
How many support reasonable gun laws?
How many love their revolvers but hate my M1 Garand?

NRA member for over 25 years. Yes, they?ve done better at standing up for the 2A recently but the warts are there and some are pretty big and ugly.
GOA & SAF member too, as well as state & local orgs.
Enemies of armed self-defense focus on the gun. They ignore the person protected with that gun.
