Thanks to any and all veteran today, but especially those who fought through this endeavor on our country's part.

R.I.P. Sonny Brocato, an 18 year old young man from Beaumont, Texas, who was KIA due to a long burst of machine gun fire to the torso just after he scaled the wall at the Inchon landing. Sonny, you were a great Big Brother to all of the neighborhood kids.

    Prayers for all.

    Well Done, Thank You..... R.I.P.
It's being willing. I found out early that most men, regardless of cause or need, aren't willing. They blink an eye or draw a breath before they pull the trigger. I won't. ~ J.B. Books

My dad a veteran of K Company, Third Battalion, First Marines, went through Guadalcanal, Cape Gloucester, and Peleliu. In April 1950 he and a buddy, both were iron workers, had the bright idea to join the Marine Corps Reserves to maybe get some extra HBTs for work clothes..

you guessed it...Korea here we come!

Much thanks and appreciation to all the men who served in Korea.

One of my uncles was a Korean War vet. He was an honorable man and I have always admired him.

You are still missed uncle "Chuck". May you rest in peace.
