    Friend standing at his horse's neck, horse threw his head around for some reason, hit him in the mouth, two teeth gone and fractured bone. After he recovered, he sold his horses. They ain't toys.

    I don't think the mounting guy was that horses owner.No way.
    That colt saw a monster the size of it's self and just said NO.
    The kick was out of order for the horse.
    Horses are the same as any other pet. Discipline them the minute they do wrong.
    I feel bad for the kickee and the owner should have been able to see that the horse was uncomfortable with it's perspective rider.

    about 20 years ago I had 4 painted yearlings, 1 was bat scheet crazy, I believe she was abused before I got her, very scared and stand offish and borderline violent towards humans, I couldn't get very close to her


    I had this great idea to rope her, put her in a stall and spend time with her everyday, hand feed etc etc




    I was great with a rope, had that part down, my idea was to rope her and quickly take my end and loop it around a post, this is when I found out that our rating of 1 HORSE POWER is waaaay off


    I roped her perfectly, by time I realized to let the hell go, she launched my 250# * through the air like nothing, and pulled me at least 10 yards through the mud
