And this is the quote from their website...
"Extreme conditions call for an extreme gun. And never before has a rifle this durable and rugged been introduced to the world of hunting. "[B)]
Seriously, I'm sorry to see this happen to you.
I would demand a replacement, and not a repair.
ADDED:
Looks like a poor silver solder job. When done properly, they can be pretty sturdy. Check out the video link below (3:52 mark) ...

Personally, I were you, if you want to keep the rifle, I'd have the handle TIG welded to the bolt.
Removing silver solder handle and re tigging handle back on $55 (http://www.straightshotgunsmithing.com/)
And not just the bolt either!![V]
I know U were STOKED yesterday and I am really sad to see that brandy spankin new rifle let U down like'at...[V]
I'm sure they will make it right.
never had that happen on a rem 700. Call remington and get a new rifle. Unless you ran a hot load and had to beat the bolt open, that is abnormal. I have a 300RUM built on a 700 action, with a tight chamber PacNor barrel, where I (admittedly) ran a load too hot, and had to beat the bolt open, and even then, the bolt handle never broke off. If mine held, then you got the one that made it's way off the line without being properly QC'd.
Useing Rem factory ammo. Was chambering 3rd round, pushing bolt forward, handle fell off.
call and raise hell.
1st thing in the morning!!!
Now that's what I call some high quality firearms..
Good luck.
Mine has been sitting at the "authorized sick it in your @ss center" for 3 1/2 months![}:)]

That's a damn shame! I know how excited you were about the new toy.
When you contact the Big Green tell them the failure has been posted on GB Forum...... That should put the fear of God into them! [;)][:D][:D][:D]
The company is allowing its core products to be driven into the ground.
Flash forward to 2005, and I traded it to a buddy. Within 1 month, he broke the handle off the bolt.
He called Remington, told them it was second hand and what happened, and they sent him a new bolt free of charge.
Was there a mis feed???

Heartbreaking.
Was there a mis feed???
Yes, he paid good money and "fed it" into a Remington with horrible quality control. [V]
just asking if there was something in the process of charging...
That is all
