I hope that Your State will help them get started, as REMINGTON wants to move the entire Factory to a Gun frendly state, If not then they will likly go across the Big water.

Yup, they bought out Montana Rifleman, up by Kalispell. They've been making AR barrels for Remington and S&W for a while now. Heck, even Armscorp is setting up shop in Stevensville, with an ammo factory. The rumor going around here was that they bought out BVAC.
An unarmed man can only flee from evil, and evil is not overcome by fleeing from it.

    montanajoe,

Cerberus currently owns the Freedom Arms Group and is stating that its board and stockholders want to sell the group as a whole or in pieces due to the 'bad publicity' of recent times. I haven't seen anything work well for any of the companies purchased by Cerberus except for substantially higher prices on the product lines. They should piece it out and let all of them go private again.

Brian will stand to make a considerable amount of money again if this sale goes through.

Bear in mind that the number they quote for barrel production is about 1,250 barrels per day...

    Best.

I am a die hard rem700 fan. BUT, if the bean counters get involved, MRC's products will cease to be excellent rifle actions, and become well, mediocre at best[V]

Brian will/has come out ahead. The rest of the deal worries me. Upscale, downsize, reorganize, hasn't done very well recently,as both nononsense and justc stated. Will be interesting to watch this unfold.
