Sorry about the not so good photo she didn't give me time to focus.
This is the first one of this color I've ever seen, it has a solid hot pink tail wing tips breast and head.
I Google it but nothing on this color. I get a bunch of the beige ones by the feeder, this one is different.
Has anyone seen one of these before>>

Gilbear-there aren't any fresh painted pink statues around there, are there? [:D]
Ha ha, Dan my wife told me there is a red dove by the feeder and I told her cant be there are no red doves and when I saw it my first thought was it fell in a bucket of paint or something.
seen it is more impressive the photo is not that good.
I'm really hoping it comes back to take a better pic.

I agree on the wedding angle. Someone may have bought several, dyed them pink, and then released them at a wedding, birth of a little girl, etc. Given time, and feather replacement, it should return to its natural color.
I don't think so the uniformity and high iridescence of the pink feathers can only be created by mother nature, definitely not a dye job.

Yes I've seen dyed baby ducks. I tell you this is no dye job even the legs are much hotter brighter pink than the regular ones.
