Not exactly a completely thorough test, but interesting results on using sabot slugs in a shotgun without rifling.

Interesting, but i think i'll stick with Brenneke's slugs for most of my slug shooting. They are cheaper, and i've shot many 4" and under groups at 100 yards with my 870 with rifle sights and the modified choke tube.

Wifes 20ga. smoothbore, rem. high velocity rifled slugs:

sight in,first shot high&right,lowered it then ran 2shot burst &walked it in,about 60yds,,


100yds out,,


my 12ga fully rifled, useing rem. 2 3/4 buckhammer sabot,100 yds



2 shots overlapped,50yds.,
