Either the flower stem is sturdy or the bee is light- keep expecting things to fall to the right.
I was out fishing when I took this pic....There were several working the hay field surround the lake. The bees would really work each flower over before moving on...They are interesting to watch, at least I think so [:)]
Some bumblebees have a whitish or yellow patch of hairs just below or between their eyes. In the European species and in some American species these are males. They cannot sting, and generally they appear towards the end of the nest life, just before the new queens hatch out.
As a kid, I remember catching yellow headed bubblebees with bare hands.
