Nascar was rained out, so we started watching the soccer game.

I don't even know the rules, but WOW, that was amazing.

Still don't know what the soccer "hat trick" was that Carli Loyd did.

If you get three goals in a game, it is called a "hat trick." Very difficult to accomplish.

In 15 years of schlepping my girls to soccer, I have only seen that one other time, and it was a MUCH smaller field! That was an outstanding shot.

We were even nice enough to give them an own goal....

(Hope used to play for the Atlanta womens team and we usually sat right behind the goal. One of the defenders scored an own goal on her one night and I thought there was going to be a fight on the field, cost us the game. Maybe they should not have named it the Atlanta Beat, 'cause that is all they got.... BEAT.... )
