"I will be there for you when you need me"

Many of you may remember, I said a few years back after the second or third rally in Albany, NY that the last thing Trump said before boarding helicopter was I will protect the 2nd Amendment and "I will be there when you need me". We tried to draft him for Governor but I am sure he was thinking about a run for the Whitehouse. I am proud to be a part of the small percentage in NY that did not vote for Hillery. I truly believe that he probably did not want to be President but he really does want to try and "Make America Great Again" I am saddened that Va. went to Hillery. I can get away from King Cuomo by living in my Va. home but where could I go if Hillery were elected?
A native son of Virginia.

On April 1st 2014 those were President Trump's words as we watched in Albany. In my heart and my old bones, I believed him, and I was sure that this day would come as it has. God, please help our President Trump do a good job.

I was not a believer but I am willing to give him a chance. I liked his aggressive speech today. I can imagine he had those shills on the dais nervous and flustered.

That was my take. He went right at the establishment. Both parties.

As I have said, the problem isn't the Rs or the Ds. It is the DCs. They all get to DC and immediately start to concentrate on:

    1) Getting reelected.
    2) Getting rich.
    3) Getting invited to all the best parties.

Representing the people who sent them there gets forgotten fast. Time to remind them.

I was in a bar tonight and a guy was bitching about Trump being rich. I said to him: "Because he's rich, Trump has thousands of employees who make a good living for their families. Would you rather work for a poor employer? Besides, since he's already rich, he can't be bought like the rest of those bums. Think about it."

I don't generally care for him as an individual, never have. I think he is a brash unpolished narcissist, I only know of him from the media exposure I've never met him. That said however I prefer him over Hillary, Obama, Romney, McCain, Etc.

As I've noted I don't agree with everything he says or does but it is time for real change in America.

Pull up your pants, and get a job.
Why don't we go to school and work on the weekends and take the week off!

I bet they were wondering how Trump could paint a target on their back while standing in front of them. I was listening to the speech on the radio, but in my mind I was high fiving him.
