Auction Side Shock

Listed this old Colt 1911 Magazine six months ago.
About three weeks before Christmas, dropped the starting price.
Now it is $150.00+ Have had two bidders going at it.
Do not understand why a Risdon contract tu-tone magazine is selling for so much[:0]
I knew the start bid of $90.00 was reasonable for it. But I am shocked how these two have fought over it.
The last one we sold went for only $90.00.

We have had 3 of the tu-tone Risdons.
Two including this one were WWI era issue.
The other was a WWII era issue.

My late FIL got them from a Colt Collector years ago. They used to have hang tags on them
describing them. Have no idea what happened to the hang tags that were on them.
