@baggage claim = Zero security. TSA is useless/joke anyways, IMHO.
Not much an unarmed passenger screener can do.
Possible Second Shooter!!!!!!!

I will never forget him standing outside the Super Dome in tears pleading that people were being raped and murdered....his cred took a dump that day.
People scattered to heck and beyond, going in all directions.
Out of Control!
So apparently he was on a flight, and had a gun in checked baggage. when he arrived he took his bag into the bathroom, loaded his firearm and then commenced to shooting people.
I bet the airport opens midday tomorrow at soonest!
I thought Canada was Hell on Handguns???!!??
Another worthless POS that should have been shot in the head right there.
What I have been told is that you can not ship your ammo in the luggage.
It is considered hazardous and not allowed on air flights.
That has always been my understanding.
So if that is true then where did he get the ammo.
If I am wrong then I have been mislead all these years.
you can check small amounts (2 - 3 boxes) in the same bag as the checked firearm. Heck, you can have the ammo in the same locked case with the firearm. Must be 'original-type' box. No ammo in the firearm or in magazines.
You can have ammo in the mags. It just has to be a box designed to protect the primmer....which magazines do a very good job of. I've flown like this on many occasions.
