In 1980 Darrell Waltrip, Dale Earnhardt, Cale Yarbourgh and Bobby Allison participated before the car race in a harness race. The horse track is inside the oval car track. Cale was raised on a farm, had the advantage. Bobby Allison practiced days before the race. Remember the fist fight was at Daytona before between the Allisons and Yarbourgh. So the race is about to start.. Something is wrong with Bobby Allisons horse..so they bring in another horse.. He wins the race. Yarbourgh is furious. He claims Allisons horse is a ringer.. Allison also wins the auto race that afternoon.
