Just wondering.............

I am just wondering.................
As the manager / buyer for the sporting goods department, I am starting to "fluff up" the shelves for all the items needed for the fall hunting season and I am wondering why I have inventoried the same 10, .40 caliber bore brushes and the same 5, .40 caliber pistol cleaning kits for 2 years now, when I have to order .22 - 9mm - .38 - .380 - .44 and .45 bore brushes and cleaning kits, by the dozen, several times a year.
Do .40 S&W pistols shoot cleaner than the other calibers ?????????
And, yes, we sell a lot of .40 S&W pistols.
Just wondering, like my mind does most of the time.

I use my 45 brush for almost everything but the 22cal. gets a little tight in the 38 but is still usable.

sounds like time for a giveaway![:D]
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche

Your .40 kits cost too much and your customers are buying them elsewhere?

    Red Neck Cleaning Kit..............
You ain't the first guy to power out chambers with the items in your photo. A few 12 gauge shotguns, with 3&1/2 chambers, after a summer of shooting 2&3/4 get power scrubbed. The owner can't understand why he can't chamber a 3&1/2 in the gun any more for goose season.

And, the .40 caliber kits are priced the same as all the others.

I'll venture a guess that the buyers are just buying the .45 brushes and using them for both .45 and .40 since they are so close in size. You may want to simplify your inventory and skip the reorder of the .40's for this year. [:)]

The kind of people who shoot .40 don't clean guns
Why don't we go to school and work on the weekends and take the week off!

OK, then I am going with the .40 guys are just cheap!

Seriously, how does your ammo sell? Meaning do you sell as much .40 ammunition as you do the other calibers? They might be buying the guns, but if they don't buy the ammo, they don't need to clean the guns.
