Cabelas has shipped my 22lr tracer rounds. I should receive them on the 14th. I'll let everybody know how fun they are.

The only part of my order they have left to ship is the bricks of 22lr.

Are they legal? I know you can't get 7.62x39 tracers in CA.

Illegal in Florida due to the ease of starting wild fires..

I don't know. Ordered from Cabelas. They put some states that didn't allow them. California was not on the list. They shipped them, so it would appear that they're fine.

Never knew they made such a thing. I can imagine shooting a rabbit and BBQing it at the same time[:D]. Now only if they make a round that would skin it as well[:D].

Could be fun to fill up an "American 180" with the big drum magazine with these - and blaze away.

I'm amused that .22LR is being loaded as tracers. Being that there is no practical need for tracers unless you are firing an automatic weapon at long range.
But I guess it is kind of fun to be able to watch your rounds go downrange.

California penal code 12301 (a)(1) , classifies it as destructive device.Illegal and possibly a felony. Major fire hazard.

Well that sucks. Guess I'll have to wait until I go to Nevada to use them.
