military oath

The wife has just read in the National Law Journal that obama wants to change the Military Pledge oath to the President not the constitution.If true sounds like he wants to be our first dictator.

    It is already in there that they will obey the orders of the President of the United States..

    I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.

    I find it odd that officers don't swear to obey the president...hmmm...It's still in the UCMJ, though.

    ...but it's subservient to the Constitution and Regulations.
