Yes, the laws are unconstitutional but he should have known.
New Jersey is the single reason why I don't carry in my 18 wheeler.
About once a year I get orders to deliver in Camden and that alone makes it not worth it to carry, as I usually drive across South Carolina, NC, Ga., Alabama, Mississippi, La, and Texas.
U can be arrested, tried and convicted for thinking about handguns in NJ!!!
The guy is well-meaning, but he is a dumb *. I thought everybody knew about the draconian NJ gun laws.

Allen, Next time you come to Camden, drive another 20 miles south to my house in the country, for a home cooked meal and a comfy bed. Donna is a first class country girl and will cook you any meal that you want. We would be honored to open our home to you and have the room to park an 18 wheeler. John and Donna.
Dear God why would we allow their lives to be torn apart at the seams just because of some foolish 5000 year old notion of what marriage is?
After all, everyone knows that same sex marriage was one of the first things our founding fathers put in the constitution!
Here we have a case where the second amendment clearly reserves the right to bear arms and somehow that right is OK for states to throw out.
There is no concern that this mans good deed will be punished by the illegal rescinding of 2nd amendment rights in New Jersey.
They will bring in the National guard to protect same sex marriage "rights" and then throw honest, hardworking obviously good people to the wolves!
Just another indicator of how our society is being fundamentally transformed by communist/socialist interventions.
It's really hard to imagine that type of place actually exists in this country. What is it? Who are these people that come up with these type of laws? Are they just F'ing stupid or what?
Smitty, I am just going to be brutally honest and it might offend some people and for that I apologize. This state is controlled by the people of the cities in North jersey where most of our population resides. They are the BLACK liberals from the cities of Newark, Elizabeth, the Oranges and so on. They elect these liberal democrats that promise them free everything if they vote for them, then tell them to piss off and start doing what ever benefits themselves. See Bob Melendez. Corey Booker is our state senator, some black hood rat that got elected along with a lot of white liberals, that are making and prosecuting these crazy gun laws. We have an over zealous prosecutor trying to become a judge. The list is endless and the people of South Jersey are paying the price. Our southern part of the state is all farms and make up most of the state, with the least amount of residents. You can tell when a North Jersey person moves here. They have a BIG attitude problem, are loud, obnoxious, and try to tell you how things should be done. They also don't like guns and try to ban gun clubs that they move next to. They are basically New York City Guido s with the wife beater t shirts and gold chains, type of people you see on the Jersey shore show. Watch that show and you will see what I mean. NOT every person form North Jersey is like that, but the majority. This is why we are trying to divide this state into two states, but it continually falls on deaf ears and never gets put to a vote. Alabama, we are not far away. Oakie
The reason Christie has not acted is because he doesn't give two sh_ts in hell about gun owners, the fair application of laws, the Second amendment or simple common sense.
I wish Brian Fletcher luck with this thing but the only way Christie will pardon him is if he sees it as helping his Presidential campaign.

I don't think you'll offend anyone on this forum with that explanation. If anything you'll get our condolences. If anyone is offended I guess you could just say the truth hurts.
What you said about people from Northern NJ moving to South NJ sounds very much like what the south has been battling since reconstruction.
You might remember the two kinds of Yankees. There's Yankees, they come to visit and there's damn Yankees, they're the ones that come to visit and never go home. [:D]
To get votes from folk who blame the gun not the as$ that pulled the trigger.
This form of Gerrymandering with gun laws is how NJ like NY became the poster child for stupid gun laws.

I guess I am one of those damn Yankees. Came to Florida from Minnesota and never went home.
I find it hard to believe that Chris Christie doesn't know about this case and others like it. A Governor would have his staff watching for cases that would have political impact, that could either cause the Governor trouble or offer some political advantage.
The reason Christie has not acted is because he doesn't give two sh_ts in hell about gun owners, the fair application of laws, the Second amendment or simple common sense.

Oh, he knows about this case, as it is right in his face.I have spoken to his fatness on several occasions during the Shaneen Allen case and some others. I donated 500 dollars to Ms. Allen's defense fund and some other worth while Gun cases. Chris Christie is neither pro or anti gun, but kinda neutral on these cases and told me even if he was for the right to carry, no laws will ever get passed, pro gun, in this state. Here is Chris Christies phone number for all you guys, if you want to talk to him or help out in this cause.609-292-6000. He will return your call if you are respectful and not just an agitator. We have spoken on a number of different subjects. I don't agree with everything he has to say, but as a "Person", I find he is just a regular guy and someone I like. As a politician, I don't agree with him on many things. He is now in it for political gain and that frustrates many of us residents. This could be said for any Governor running for President, not just ol Fat *.

Actually the South doesn't claim Florida any longer. It's a trap and as soon as it's completely filled up with Yankees we're cutting the peninsula off from the continent and letting her sink! [:D]
People think the canal that's been partially cut across the north end of the state is actually a canal but it's really just a head start.

Let it float away. I want out of Florida.
Central Georgia looks nice. My brother is in a little town there. Got 55 acres and leases another 250.
Would love to be somewhere like that.
Oakie, you got 3 emails coming your way.
You made me spit through my nose[:D][:D][:D][:D][:D]
Maybe some day, we'll let everyone in on it.
