Obama is ordering closing of Chrysler based on which dealer supported his campaign.

Well, one of the dealerships in my home town being closed is owned by a former head of the state Democrat Party. I'm pretty sure he supported Obama.

That's just your typical conspiracy theorists are work. Do you seriously believe that a Republican dealer would vote Democrat after they closed his business?

I would say there are a lot more republican owned dealerships than those owned by a democrat. I have never met a dealer principal who is a democrat. I think that has to do with the perceived support of small business by the republican party not to mention the democrats negative plank on the current envioromental policy, preference to minorities and high taxation.
democrats are hard on the car business with all their regulations, NO DOUBT.
The car companies have a program called dealer development, they are semi-required to employ minority dealer principals in a quota scheme like affirmative action. It would make sence to me that the Obama administration would justify a more deversified owner base and use that to eliminate rich white owners especially where federal dollars are involved.
Minority owners under these programs suck, they never have their own money and they are terible at the car business.
The only people who own dealerships should have bought it with their own money the rest are not mentally equiped....

You got that right. When I used to set up dealerships for Chrysler, the principals had to have a minimum of $250,000 in unencumbered funds. Under the "Minority Ownership Plan", they had to have $50,000, all of which could be borrowed. If they couldn't borrow it anywhere, Chrysler would loan it to them in the form of a Capital Loan! Very few of those stores lasted very long without a new minority taking it over every couple of years.

Be a good idea to read the artical before you critize it or draw conclusions. Actually I think libs get their opinions handed to them by others rather than through critical thinking and reading skills.
