screwed by the government AGAIN

i just got my pension check for the month of march and noticed a $50.00 decrease. i called the pension office to see what the problem was. i was told the government has issued new tax forms to withold more tax from everyone.
has onyone else noticed this

    Yes more income witholding, LESS social security witholding????

    Well, it's not that they are withholding more, they just stopped withholding less.

    Part of the so-called "stimulus" package. Obama had withholding decreased soon after his coronation ("we won, you lost"), so that it would appear that employees were being paid more money. So, more folks will find that they owe money when they file taxes this year.

    It was just a 1 year reduction, it has to go back up to normal this year.

    I posted about this last month when I got my Military pay Notice. Tax increase showed up then for March.


    No New Taxs not one dime increase Yea Right.

    go back to your 2009 pay stub and it should match what you are getting now

    It was actually a raise. You see, they wanted to take $100 more out of your check, but they decided to give you a break and only take $50. So you actually saved $50. You have to take a special class in government math. And John Kerry was for it before he was against it.
