In this time of race baiting and controversial benefits to illegal aliens, the USDA announces this slap in the face to conservative voters and obvious ploy to shore up hispanic votes?
Either that or the whitehouse is trying to change the focus of the battle and distract people who have a singular purpose of stopping illegal immigration at the border.
Tail wagging the dog again. By now we must be getting numb to the insane spending this government is promoting even as we sink ever lower in debt.
Well here is one more thing to ad to my list of government intrusions into the free market that I oppose....

Even the least educated farmer has the option of having all the regulations explained to them FTF by a USDA employee. The fact that any group is more or less able to use the various programs offerred by USDA has less to do with race or gender and more to do with whether the group was actually involved in farming. I know many landowners who have no idea of what is available unless their farm manager wants something done.

As the number of farmers has decreased dramatically over the last 50 years, the number of employees and the budget of the USDA has increased dramataically. It takes at least 3 USDA employees for each farmer. One in Washington to tell the farmer how to farm, one on the farm to actually run the farm, and one to hold the farmer.
