The satanic mafia ATF is full of it. They have no legitimate reason to do that.

Whether true of not we know partisan socialist democrats are in control of most federal bureaucracies and will do whatever they can to attack and ultimately take away your Second Amendment rights.

Even worse, are the democrat partisan operatives in controlling both the IRS and the Justice Department.
I offer ATFs Fast and Furious scandal and AG held in contempt of congress, plus the IRS scandal as proof.

5.45 has been flying off the warehouse floors for the past 2-3 weeks with not a single company I deal with knowing if they will ever have any more.

None have said their form 6 was being sat on or delayed or whatever. But one company told me the problem with Russian imports are they go through 1 guy and only 1 guy and he is a Ukranian. I dunno about that but what little I know is the stuff has to be 30 years old before it can be imported. The last case I got was 1984! The case before that was 1982 and 1978 prior to that one. All 3 cases from the same dealer in a 2 month window.

So I might see where they have exhausted the 30 year surplus. Which would suck as it would mean nothing comes in Until Jan 1 2015.

I have one online seller telling me he paid dearly for his and he is having a hard time selling it. Maybe not anymore. Just checked their site and the surplus is gone!

In fact, I can't find surplus on any of the 10 sites I use most. The auction side has some surplus and its getting a bit spendy already. However, as long as no corrosive ammo is still available, it will keep the prices from getting to far out of check. But... If the good stuff disappears.

Also like to add a side note that I have noticed over the past few weeks that the 5.45 AR uppers are getting hard to find. In fact, my beloved Model1Sales no longer mfg the upper I have. They have 1 5.45 and it's one of their top end pieces.

So... It all means a hill of beans until a case hits $625 again.

So steel core or AP pistol ammo is a no no, and when someone made a not really handgun handgun it got the ammo banned?

The ATF is needs to be de funded.

This will cause another ammo hysteria, anyone with money will be stock piling this surplus 7N6 now.

The stock piling should have been done weeks ago. Most people blew it off, there were several post on here about grabbing a can or a case just to have some if you shoot it. Anyone dealer you called would have told you it was going fast, some places selling upwards of 50 cases a day. That was a month ago. I'm not sure a single person posted they bought a single round. Other than me. I hope this is all hot air as this is my favorite caliber to shoot.

So what about the other "pistols" that shoot rifle rounds? How long before they do the same to those calibers?

And here is the guy who caused it:

So he says this in his auction. Has anyone written and asked him about it?

I'd bet you've probably never seen one of these before! Go ahead, do a search...told you so! Most manufacturers will not build these as they erroneously believe that 5.45 pistols could get the inexpensive 7N6 Russian surplus ammunition banned from import.

The point is the "7N6" stuff is steel core ammo. That makes it armor piercing for the ATF. Armor piercing ammo that fits in a handgun is verboten per some damned * lawmaking and the ATF.
