Thanks for the link.
Thank you for posting that.
WOW, 5" group at 1000 yards..Old farts rule.[:D]
He apparently did it with a weapon that was INCAPABLE of doing that well.
I also like that he actually earned that black hat with his shooting.
I never liked honorary titles much.
That guy earned that hat.
He reminds me of somebody...
Best ten minutes I've spent all damn week.
Thanks for the link.

Ol' fart who doesn't make much of himself... still got the blues. [:)]
Folks NEED TO SEE IT!![8D]
Personally I'd love to take a crack at 1000 yards with the 03A4. With proper handloads it should be capable of reliably hitting a man-sized target; 1 MOA would make a 10" group, about the max you'll wring out of that platform, but perfectly within a man's chest area.
Great post. I was a little skeptical when they said 'impossible to hit a target at 1000 yards' and thought, ah, here we go with the bull, but then to produce such a good group, that was pretty nice.

Nice to see our veterans being treated with the respect they deserve. Kind of sad to realize though that an 84 year old man can out shoot me.
That was so good, think I will make that a sticky for awhile for others to see.[^]
Sent that link to every shooter I know.
Thanks for posting this MUST see video into a Sticky. [:D][^]
Best piece of film that I have seen ths year. Excellent, and like others have said it stired my emotions.
+1
The men of AMU recognize their heritage and that we are losing our greatest generation. The fact that they show their respect and admiration while they are still with us is as important as what they do in combat.
Pause it at 3:33 - The man still has the eye of the hunter.
I started thinking about what might have gone through his mind while he settled in behind the 'scope, flashing back to a frozen hell, trying to pick off the members of the "master race" before they had a chance to kill his friends.
Three head shots at 1,000 ain't too shabby neither.
3 shots at 1000 yards in a 5" circle...
Truly amazing!
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
