I didn't realize blacks live in a different nation and have their own National Anthem.

Will never work.

It is my hope that within my lifetime I will see us drop Black History Month by the wayside as an old idea that has outlived its time. Now that we have more Latino students in school should we start to have "Brown History Month?" And since white kids still outnumber blacks and browns in school why don't we celebrate White History Month? Its all crap and just being PC. We need to drop it and start thinking about celebrating the US History Year rather than cultural months IMHO

if they want to have their own national anthem, let them all go back to africa and say the national anthem there.
I just say one last thing. if you dont love my country, get the hell out, we dont need it changed because you dont like it. and take obama with you.

I think we should have American History every single day.
this crap is only dividing out country. either love it or leave it.
It more about look at how you treated me. Feel sorry for me, You Owe me.
Liberalism truely is a mental disorder.
And then we are constantly reminded to be "color blind".
Liberalism truely is a mental disorder.
And a collapse of morality .[}:)]
Any bedbugs on me
If you do! Just
Pick a Few! and
I will fry them for you.
'Til earth and heaven ring,
Ring with the harmonies of Liberty;
Let our rejoicing rise
High as the listening skies,
Let it resound loud as the rolling sea.
Sing a song full of the faith that the dark past has taught us,
Sing a song full of the hope that the present has brought us;
Facing the rising sun of our new day begun,
Let us march on 'til victory is won.
Stony the road we trod,
Bitter the chast'ning rod,
Felt in the days when hope unborn had died;
Yet with a steady beat,
Have not our weary feet
Come to the place for which our fathers sighed?
We have come over a way that with tears has been watered,
We have come, treading our path through the blood of the slaughtered,
Out from the gloomy past,
'Til now we stand at last
Where the white gleam of our bright star is cast.
God of our weary years,
God of our silent tears,
Thou who has brought us thus far on the way;
Thou who has by Thy might
Led us into the light,
Keep us forever in the path, we pray.
Lest our feet stray from the places, our God, where we met Thee,
Lest, our hearts drunk with the wine of the world, we forget Thee;
Shadowed beneath Thy hand,
May we forever stand,
True to our God,
True to our native land.

Lithuanian history month. Hope y'all like cabbage rolls....[:D]
Blacks have been tooting their own horn for years like that.
Black History Month is not really about history.
It more about look at how you treated me. Feel sorry for me, You Owe me.
maybe a one way ticket back to thire native land
My country 'tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing.
Land where my fathers died, land of the Pilgrim's pride,
From every mountainside, let freedom ring!
Sorry- the loud humming noise in the background is probably Dr. King spinning in his grave.

It was made just for freed slaves [:)]
Now what these reparation minded idiots seem to forget is that in the end we did them a favor (albeit on the backs of the enslaved). If it wasn't for that period in time, those now enjoying the freedoms and opportunities this country has to offer, would be living in third world countries, probably have AIDS, and be drinking water downstream of where they crap.
If it is so bad here, I would be more than happy to have my tax dollars supply one way tickets back to Africa or whatever other hell-hole they would rather be living in. Heck for that matter, even give them a stipend for their troubles. In the end the savings from welfare alone would far outweigh the costs.
Not to add insult to injury, but did you know that by 2035 Whites will be minority and Latinos the majority?
Jose can you see ... by the dawn early light ...

Until we lose all the seperationalist things that divide us, we will never be truly united. We are all Americans, nothing more, nothing less. I absolutely detest the things that seperate us. I detest hyphonated names. I hate any official designation that is dedicated to a single race. I hate any holiday that is given as an apeasment to a given race. Equality for all means just that. Equality. No more, no less. We are all Americans, and that, by God, should damn well be good enough for anybody.
September 11, 2001 was one of the worst days in the history of the United States. It was also one of the best, inasmuch as it united us all. We were no longer white, black, brown, red or yellow. We were all Americans. Every one of us shared the same sense of great loss, and outrage.

Unfortunately this is not the way most the minorities think. Just look at the rally's for illegals that have been held in AZ. THEY do NOT want to assimilate.
