Freezer Crisis Averted

Was in my basement tonight and noticed a small bloody drip from my small upright freezer that I keep me deer burger in. Opened the door an no light. The electrical plug was out just enough.
Luckily the burger was still at least half froze. The drippings coming from the package ends.
Gonna check into a temp alert now.
Any suggestions on them?
