...Finally got the grandson to sit still long enough to play our little game. After a ticker-tape shower, Perry Shooter's name was left in the magical, mystery Folgers can. Congrats and thanks to all entrants!
...My son works as a cnc machinist for Bosch. They recently changed locations and all sorts of stuff turns up in the trash dumpster: prototypes, returns, etc. This is a Bosch DAF220 Miterfinder. It's an angle finder, level thingy. The problem is.....it doesn't work right. The digital display comes on, but does not display the degrees of angle.
...It could still be used for transferring angles and as a standard level...also for a nice straight edge. Maybe you can fix it. Nice stiff sided case and manual.
...No rules and I pay shipping. I'll give it a day or two.

...Each arm is 17", so even folded, the length is only 17". The case is about 18" and if you grab the double strap, it's hand carry. If you just pull one, it rides like a horizontal shoulder holster, not up tight to your armpit.

...By the way, the piece on the bottom is an extention that slides onto the arm. I was tempted to keep it for a straight edge.
