Does anyone know the patent number issued to William Mason at Colt for the M1873 SAA "Peacemaker" ???

    Mason and Richards where in the conversion business, the patent number he took to Colt was 158,957.

    I've found the following associated patents with the Colt M1873 SAA:
    These three patent dates are included in the roll mark on a SAA.119,048 Dated September 19, 1871 Issued to C.B. Richards
    128,644 Dated July 2, 1872 Issued to William Mason
    123456
    And the one you pointed me to...
    158,957 Dated Jan 19, 1875 Issued to William MasonAll three were used in the development of the M1873 SAA Colt Revolver.

    I understand that a fourth patent issued to William Mason for the "New Line" Colt Revolvers in September 15, 1874 was later incorporated into the M1873 in 1893.
