OldeMagics... and others near the storm.

Spoke with him on the phone this afternoon.
He was doing well at that time...

I received an eMail he was getting his basement flooded at about 7:30pm...
He mentioned the power had flickered several times and hoped the two pumps he had remained on.

Haven't heard anything since ...

I sent an eMail a short bit ago... Hope all is well with him.

Anyone else in the vicinity of the storm track that's getting pounded... ?

My eldest son's girlfriend has relatives in NYC... Flooded.
My daughter is in Worcester, MA... Stout winds.

Here's hoping all will fare the weather... as best as is possible.

    We took a direct hit here at the jersey shore. All the electric stayed on. Man was it windy. Were all doing fine. This was really a non event compared to what the southeren states get during hurricane season.I have been through three hurricanes now and this one was the least damaging. Thanking the man upstairs for sparing us.Back to work tommorrow.Customers have been sending us photos of their heaters and ac's under water. guess we will be even more busy this year.Best year we have had in 18 years.

    No can do!!! Got way to busy and my guys all said they want to work. I told them I would pay them but they would have to work a few saturdays to get caught up. They all said they would be in tommorrow.I dont think we can even get to the shop. We will see in the morning. Right now we are not allowed in the city or anywheres near it but they said we could come in by tommorrow afternoon.

    Good to hear Oakie that y'all rode it out well...

    Spoke to my daughter last night and again this morning... Mostly wind.
    My son's girlfriend hasn't said anything about her family in NYC.

    Also...
    Haven't heard from OldeMagics as yet... Sent him yet another eMail.
    If I haven't heard by this evening... I'm calling him, maybe I can get through to his cell.

    I sure hope he can dog paddle.... [:0]
