i joined later that year, got booted and erased, then joined again in 01 left with the {burp} crowd and joined again in 04

Same as now. White.[:p]
Well now, I sell very little brass, but I buy a lot of 'stuff' and I've stayed with the forums now just pass 8 years.

it was brown
If you can't feel the music; it's only pink noise!
You used to post a topic and it might be a day or more before it got a reply in General discussion.
Now... It's likely to hit page three before the end of the day!
i got a few with this one {21seconds in}

sorry to say I knew a little about GB rumors and see the name pop up sometimes , but I was doing Ok on another gun auction site and was just a little hesitant to jump on the GB wagon but with in a year give or take (Aug 2000 ) I went with GB and have been content and pleased with the way the Capt and crew run the ship [^][^][^][^]
tons of good info have passed these pages and some "interesting people [:D].

i do not think so, it may have been a previous version of snitz , but the background was brown and was much more versatile for users, although it was highly open for hackers

I think I was still on dial up back then. Posting was an all day affair.
I joined back in 2000 or 2001 under a different handle as I lived in a different state and had a different email address. All dialup and slow.
It was Nunn that introduced me to GB. I can remember when the auction site first started up and I was extremely cautious about bidding and buying on GB. Wow has things changed.
Soooo, now you guys have me!
Been sitting here reading and looking and thinking...
All dangerous stuff for sure.

Neat forums factoids:
There are currently on record, ~80,000 members in the forums.
Of those 80K, approximately 887 are active (posting at least once in the past 6 months).
That's about 1.1 percent of the total registered members.
Only eleven individuals out of every thousand registered members have posted in the last six months.
About 160-200 members post within a 24-36 hour period on the weekend.
While only about 12 to 15 post within a similar 24-36 hour period during a weekday (not counting Friday).
My guess is, most of our active members work for a living and aren't in the mood or have enough energy to post after a hard day's work.
I know I fit that personality model... mostly. [:I]
