(NECN) - A 9-year-old boy in Vermont was killed Saturday while riding in a trailer being pulled by his father's tractor.
It happened in Enosburg Falls. Vermont State Police said Nathan Bouchard-Howard and two other children were riding in a farm trailer being pulled by his father on a tractor along logging roads. At one point, Nathan became wedged between the trailer and its wheel. His father immediately stopped and attempted to free the child, who died at the scene.
The other children riding in the trailer were not hurt in the incident.
Vermont State police and the assistant medical examiner were on the scene and the investigation is continuing.
