A word of caution with Nikon scopes

Had the 223 3X9 BDC scope on my Wilson Arms AR break. The windage knob fell off the dang thing. Yes, it has a lifetime warranty, that is nice. The hoops you have to go through to get it fixed is over the top and very specific.

If you do not have the sales receipt, and a pile of printed paperwork from the internet the warranty is no good. If you have not kept the stub part of the warranty card, the warranty is no good. They will fix your product without the required warranty stuff after you authorize the repair cost and return shipping charges. As far a a gun accessory warranty goes this one scrapes the bottom of the barrel IMO.

It is OBVIOUSLY a manufacturer defect, the gull-dern windage knob fell off in my hand. Having to go through all that crap to send it back sucks.

Lesson learned.

Back to Burris, cry once. If they break return it and it gets fixed or replaced no questions asked.
