TB cases rise due to unhealthy illegals

nM just got another outbreak of TB in Clovis (East side at Texas border), because of illegals are not vetted for health concerns as they flow over our largely undefended "border".
A quick check at www.tbfacts.org shows that Whites are responsible for 0.8% of cases in the US. Guess where the rest of those cases are from.

I never thought I'd say this, but after three solid weeks of the Confederate Flag, a good old fashioned agenda thread on illegal aliens reads like a breath of fresh air.

ALL THIS IS FROM THE LINK www.tbfacts.org.....
In 2011 of the 10,528 cases of TB, 3,981 (37.8%) were among U.S. born people, with 6,510 (61.8%) among foreign born people. In 2010 of the 11,182 cases 4,393 (39.3%) were among U.S. born people, with 6,720 (60.1%) among foreign born people.

As shown in the table below there is considerable variation amongst the states as to the extent that foreign born people are more affected than U.S. born people. For example in 2011 in California 76.7% of TB cases were in foreign born people, whereas in North Carolina just 43.9% were among foreign born people.

Racial and ethnic minorities also continue to be disproportionately affected. In 2011 Asians were the largest racial/ethnic group among TB patients, with a rate of 20.9 cases per 100,000.

Although the absolute numbers were similar with 3,148 cases amongst Asians, and 3,008 cases amongst those of Hispanic or Latino ethnicity, the TB rate for Asians was approximately three times higher than the rate of 5.8 per 100,000 for Hispanics or Latinos. The number of cases of TB amongst those who are Black or African American was 2,408, a case rate of 6.3 per 100,000, and amongst Whites was 1,664 or 0.8% per 100,000.

In July 2012 it was reported that an outbreak of TB had occurred in Duval County, Florida. Of the 99 cases 76 were black non Hispanic and 16 were white non Hispanic. 96 of the 99 cases were U.S. born and 20 of the 99 were known to be HIV positive.1

i don't know what could be clearer. the number of TB cases in the USA was higher to those born outside the USA but came to the USA than those born in the USA. and of those born outside the USA and came to America, ASIANS top the lists......

Don't worry about WHO has TB; the fact remains that there are at least 2 folks concerned that someone may be "profiled" if their country of origin doesn't coincide with those folks' preconceptions and ideology. For certain, 1 of them never leaves the house; that would require turning off CNN or MSNBC (maybe Air Amerika?).

thje article does not differentiate between "illegal" and legal. it does however classify Asians who have come to this country as being the higher group of TB positives. i seriously doubt that the Obama administration would allow ANY information collected from the immigration camps to be disseminated to the public.

TB or these other illnesses reemerging after being mostly eliminated are NOT important unless caught by you or your immediate family

Sometimes we are so focused focused on the Mexican illegal problem that we ignore the other more dangerous people crossing that same border.

And I'm not talking about TB.
