quote:A Frankfort man has been charged with crashing his Jeep into a Shelbyville man who was mowing his lawn.

Jamey Munford, 40, was arrested Friday by the Shelby County Sheriff?s Office, according to WDRB News.

Deputies found Munford in his vehicle in the yard, with bloodshot, watery eyes and slurred speech and they smelled alcohol. Munford?s young daughter was in the back seat.

The victim was taken to University of Louisville Hospital with injuries that weren?t considered life-threatening. The riding lawnmower was severely damaged.

Munford was charged with reckless driving, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, assault, resisting arrest, wanton endangerment, criminal mischief, driving without insurance and possession of marijuana.

Hope the judge does something to really get his attention[:(!]

This happened to us some years ago had a drunk driver come down our street driving the wrong way. After bouncing off a couple of trees the car ended up on it roof about 2 feet from my sons Olds Cutless. The fire department got there before the cops as the station is only 2 blocks away. The driver was talking to the firemen upside down and didn't want to try and get out because he was afraid they'd arrest him. The fireman then told the driver we're not gonna arrest you there is someone else here to do that. How ever for the next couple of weeks I was picking up pieces of his car in my yard.

Drunk idiot put his car through my Grandmothers living room and most of the way into the kitchen at 2 in the morning. Going way too fast in a very small residential street and totally failed to negotiate a 90 degree turn... How he missed the big oak trees in the front yard I have never figured out.

I was about 7 when a drunk plowed into my grandparent's car as they were leaving our house, ricocheted off of their car and drove straight up our front yard, smashed through a 4' adobe wall, crossed our courtyard and came to rest about 2 feet short of my bedroom wall...with my bed sitting right next to it. Had it not hit the wall the car wouda smashed me flat...
