I was digging through my five gallon bucket of holsters (no comments- I?m a lefty and well...) anyway there?s this set of K frame grips in there off my old Model 19.

The auction side is all over the map, but I feel like this is a nice set.

All opinions welcome on the value.

Thanks-

No real world opinion of value, as I won't pay as as much for those as others will. I will say that if that's the pistol they came off in the picture I'd keep them with the pistol if it was me. If you decided some day to sell it, I think it would pay off handsomely to have the original grips.

I agree keep the grips with the gun. I sold the exact same grips on auction a month ago for $60.00. Good luck.

Keep them, the gun will be worth less with those crappy Pachmayr grips.

I'm at the rest of them, keep them because your K frame will be more valuable with original grips. More so what you can get out of the grips. People are trying to buy those grips to make their k frames more valuable. Why would you want to sell yours and make yours less valuable?

I agree with the previous. The Pachmayers I find more comfortable but the Smiths prettier. Keep the wood for any sale down the road.

I have no opinion until I see if the gun's SN is stamped on the back of one of the grips.

I sold several pairs on another site, only one had a DATE on the inside, never saw a serial number. ALL sold for over $100.

I won't make a guess what they would sell for, but they aren't going to get any cheaper. They are harder to find every day.

Never separate the original stocks. You EVER decide to sell the gun the first question asked will be "Where are the original stocks?"

Those sell for $50-$100 depending on condition. Worth more with the gun.

    Doc question from a novice...

Are the stocks marked in some way to tie they to the original gun?

Rarely are target grips marked with a serial number because they do not need to be fitted to the revolver.

I'd keep them. I think they would look very nice on one of my K-22 combat masterpieces.

I sell tons of parts an my bin of grips sets gets raped every show. Guys looking to put factory grips back on there prise pistols. If sold 50.00 bottom end an up.Grips screw alone should bring 10 to 20.00.
