Great start to this years IDPA season

We had our IDPA season opener for our local club today and I gotta say, I had a great day! I only got out once over the winter to do some informal plinking so I didn't figure I was gonna do that well but I shot pretty fair. The first stage simulated an attack by a pack of 6 wolves while you're sitting at a campfire. Three cardboard IDPA targets cut down to about 15" wide by 24" tall and three steel poppers. I put two rounds in the -0 circle of each paper target and then dropped all three poppers in 7.33 seconds, drawing and shooting from a sitting position.
The other three stages went just about as good speed-wise but I dropped a few points accuracy-wise due to shooting on the move.
All in all a fun day with some great folks!

He would have been the first target, then he'd be Scooby snacks for the wolves! I detest that individual.
