Somewhere along the way, he lost the bracket that mounted to the bumper for mounting a front license plate. A front license plate is required in Texas. There is no requirement for a bracket. I drilled two holes in the bumper and mounted the plate with a pair of sheet metal screws.

    Resale? When he was finished with that car, it was $100 worth of scrap metal.

    There is no bracket on the front of the warden's exploder either. I re-drilled the license plate to match the hole spacing for the holes in the front bumper where the bracket is supposed to mount. I mounted the plate with 1/4" stainless bolts and acorn nuts.[;)]

    You didn't find it difficult to get the nuts off the acorns...
