I'm trying it out. Got some Ky Lake Crappie out of the freezer. Laid them on a grate in a pan, put pineapple chunks on top, another layer of crappie, then more pineapple. Then poured the juice and added some butter slices. It's in the oven right now.
I'll let you know how it turns out.

    1 leftover pork chop, microwaved.
1 plate leftover rice and green beans microwaved.
    one Sam Adams Lager beer.

Place heated food on wobbly TV tray. Place beer next to food. Sit down and jostle said wobbly TV tray, so that the aforementioned Sam Adams lager tips over, and drenches everything in sight. Lovely.
    Enjoy!!!!!

    Peace

    Dan

Could've saved time and cleanup efforts if you'd just put all of that in a blender to begin with, pour in a cup and sit back with a straw [:D]

Are you telling us that you traded a leftover pork chop, rice and green bean dinner for a bag of beer nuts?

IMO Dan, your first mistake was not to have drunk the beer before you fixed dinner. One would lead to another and so on.

A few beers later you would have inspired your artistic side into creating a leftover masterpiece!

Everything chopped into bite size bits and a couple of eggs added into the fold and wa la!

After a table collapse the eggs would have held everything together and you would not have had to look under the couch for those missing beans![:p]

Oh, I can cook. It's one of the few things that I do really well. When it's just me, though, it just isn't worth the trouble most nights. In my world, a pork chop, green beans and long grain rice isn't a bad meal A bad meal is a can of tuna, and half a sleeve of saltines. I've eaten that plenty of times, too. My appetite isn't what it used to be. Pretty much anymore, I eat because I need to, not because I want to. I've had to pay attention to what I eat, and when. For a while, I was forgetting to eat at all. I would get to feeling funny, then remember that I hadn't ate in a couple days. I don't do that anymore. I just don't get hungry anymore. Part of getting old, I expect. Still a big boy, though. Likely have enough fat reserves to last me a few weeks!

    Peace

    Dan

It's so easy and cheap to eat well most nights..

A little prep work and some careful grocery shopping....

A small slow cooker - a few simple recipes.

Does not require a ton of time or cash.

    Lecture over.

That almost sounds like a challenge![:D]

I've had beer battered pork chops before, Dan, but not quite the way you've done it! Some days are like that...
