I don't have all the details, Just what was related to my by Fish and Wildlife. The investigation has just begun, so not a lot of info. Here is what we are being told. A father, 2 sons and a friend of the father were deer hunting in Barnaget Twp. The friend of the father,41, accidentally shot one of the sons, instantly killing him. The father tried to resuscitate his son, but he was already gone[V] Weather was not a factor. They believe the party of 4 was driving for deer, when the shooting took place. We are also being told of another possible shooting in the southern part of the state yesterday, also. This is all the info they gave us and I won't know anything else until the investigation has been completed. Oakie

prayers to all involved
Prayers for all concerned.
Was that an illegal hunt?
Down here the deer season ended six weeks ago. Ended in Georgia 2 weeks ago.
When I was guiding hunters, I had a couple of instances that sent a chill up my spine. Both times moderately experienced hunters asked why I didn't let them shoot the _ _ _ _ that was standing at the edge of the treeline when in fact either no such animal was ever there or it was not a _ _ _ _ at all.
I lost my best friend to an idiot that thought he was shooting at an elk.
