If you have a State sales tax number,, be on the lookout..

Got a phone call, didnt answer it because I dont pick up for phone numbers I dont recognize... Checked the number out and it said Florida Department of Revenue,, so I called it,,, First clue was the woman barely spoke english.. Said they needed to verify my return for December 2011.. 6 months ago... I told them the return was turned in on time .. The caller insisted they had no record of it,., I asked how much do you think I owe, The reply was 180.00 and I asked where do I send the check... They said No! you can take care of it by credit card over the phone,,,I told her "Dont hold your Breath" Then she said We will send you a bill... Went to the Tax office not far from here and they said,, Nope You are all straight there is no problem.. Gave em the number,, Havent heard anything yet and that was 3 weeks ago.....

    Text to Win.
just saw a ad on the tube, you have to text to win.
if I get this right, for every text message you send
it cost you money, so if they can get enough saps to
enter "thinking they have a chance of winning a tv"
they can get rich, new tv's dont cost that much.

I played along for a few minutes and then accused him of downloading pornography onto my laptop.

He got pissed and hung up.

I got a few of those calls and had a lot of fun with them.
I said I had five computers and did he know which one was infected.
My son then told him we use Ubuntu and the guy finally hung up.

Scary part is I called Dell and they helped me with a problem and I asked them how much to put my computer back in original condition. $139.95 Told them no thanks. About 2 hours later Someone called with a worse accent and said they can fix my computer for $99.96. Could be Dell employees are in on the gravy train.

After I loaded access, it would not run, I went on line, there was one guy that called after I talked with Microsoft, he tried to tell me I needed his services, the next day when Microsoft sent me an email, with instructions on how to connect with him, they fixed the problem free of charge, I explained I got a call from a online maintenance, he told me their tech moon lite as maintenance techs, I had the guys name, Microsoft was happy I had it, he may have gotten fired.
