It's crazy how much you can miss a pack of spoiled rotten puppies when you take a vacation. They have a "babysitter" but cannot imagine that she has grown as fond of them as we are.
Today has been nasty! I was awakened by a HUGE thunderstorm early this morning. It quit raining for a couple hours....but it has rained non stop all day besides that. It was ok though...we finally went to Cobalt,
They do take reservations until 5:30 and then it is first come first serve after that. It was fantastic.....not outrageous as far as price goes either. I got the ribeye....we all got oysters as a starter. Three teenage boys...so you know raw oysters eere going to end up being eaten by someone during the trip.
Larry got the filet minion....he was really happy with his choice.....Liam got ribs....the othrr boys built their own pizzas. I know....go to the ocean and eat beef....hahaha. We have eaten several places and I'm full of fish, shrimp, oysters, and adult beverages.
Today we spent the day at a couple arcades. The boys came home with about thirty of those little green army men with parachutes. I think there is an evil plan for the balcony....but I will thwart that before it happens. We also eent to the outlet mall. I don't think that the prices were cheaper.....but I still found lots of things to buy. I got some HUGE orange crocs (shoes) that make my feet look like duck feet.
We have a high school friend get together that we are going to try to make it home for.....so packing tonight.....and up asap to hit the road.
Sorry to miss the Captfun lunch....but it just was not working out for this trip. I look forward to the next beach trip. We will have to plan this again
