Have been feeling bad for awhile now. On a whim tonite checked my blood pressure, quite elevated. Last time the Doc checked it, was O.K, so I'm surprised.
Still in my 40's but i need to loose some weight. Gave up dieting this year and bought the next clothes size up. Energy level has been low, maybe this is why, which in turn makes it harder to join a gym.
I'll start with being a little more selective on what i eat and try to cut out the seconds. If the alternative is feeling better, that will be motivation enough. Then keeping the weight off, i have been through this before.

I fought with my weight for a few years and hated dieting. I did the above and have lost 35 pounds in 8 months and have a lot more energy.
If we can be nosey, how high was it?
155/90 Not terrible, but it does effect me at that level, slight dizziness, just did not put two and two together.
And then there are people who eat alot more than me and look like they have scurvy.
So perhaps you travel at a modest speed and/or you don't travel far ... and you are carrying a full tank of 50 gallons. Perhaps you have a sports or an economy vehicle not made for carrying much weight ... next thing might be transmission problems.
I don't know your: health, age, activity level, aerobic conditioning etc. However, increasing your activity level and aerobic conditioning will decrease your body weight and increase your energy level, and relatively quickly and efficiently, IF you maintain an even keel on calorie intake.
A physician can encourage you ( some more, some less ) they can prescribe medications for this or for that. You are the only one that can get yourself into a healthy aerobic condition.
( I got nothing to sell ... though I do have some knowledge and personaal experience with some of this if you are interested. )
PS: I've seldom heard of Twinkies saving anyone's life ... but do know that they are like nails in one's coffin.
